Packed with personality and style the Midi Ultima make the perfect home companion. The chairs blend easily into home surroundings and are simple to move, clean and adjust to ensure the child or small adult sits in total comfort.

The Midi Ultima chair incorporates the principles of good seating, providing a comfortable and relaxing alternative to postural management chairs and wheelchairs. Integrating the unique tilt-in-space pivoting system provides a reclined, resting position whilst maintaining posture and pelvic stability.

Keeping the angle between the chair seat and the back at 110° eliminates the potential to slide forward into an uncomfortable position. Weight is distributed evenly over a large contact surface area making it a simple yet effective way to combat the build up of pressure. 

The Midi Ultima chair now has the option of either the Advanced Comfort Backrest incorporating the highly acclaimed Reflexion Foam or an entire Reflexion Foam backrest that moulds itself to the contours of the user to help disperse body weight more evenly over a greater surface area.

Providing choice is central to pressure management within the seating range and the Midi Ultima chair is no exception. The option of different pressure relieving seat modules depends on individual user's pressure management requirements. From the highly advanced Intelligel seat module for those at very high risk of developing pressure problems through to the Transflo Gel cushion and Reflexion foam seat modules for those at medium to high risk. Indeed the flexibility of the Midi Ultima chair as with the majority of the specialist seating portfolio enables users to either integrate their own pressure relieving seat cushion into the seat module of the chair or apply a flat seat board upon which it can be effectively used.

The Midi Ultima achieves the balance between the specific needs of the user whilst providing a high degree of mobility and simple maintenance for the carer.
