Product description

The ultimate shower, toilet and commode chair is the M2 Flexi-Tip combining tilt-in-space with back angle recline to compliment the functionality of both the Duo and Encora specialist seating ranges.

The M2 Flexi-Tip provides definitive positioning and postural management for those who are unable to maintain their body posture and require extra support when showering or toileting. The Flexi-Tip has battery-operated tili-in-space as well as the added advantage of battery-operated back angle recline to achieve a secure, fully tilted position for the user.

Unique to the M2 Flexi-Tip is the positional "locking-box" that enables the tilt or back angle position to be limited to a specific angle for an individual user to avoid over-tilting and unintentional changing of position. The simple hand control unit facilitates independent adjustment of the back angle and the tilt-in-space.

Tilt-in-space enables the occupant to be tilted forwards or backwards in a chair whilst maintaining the position of the knees and hips to achieve optimal support for showering and toileting. The back angle recline enables the user to extend backwards to achieve a more comfortable and suitable position for personal care activities such as hair washing.

Tilting the body has the effect of distributing weight over a larger contact surface providing a simple way to combat the build up of pressure as well as preventing the occupant slumping and sliding into an uncomfortable position.

Manufactured from quality stainless steel with moulded polyurethane upholstery ensures easy cleaning.Manoeurability is made effortless with the M2 Flexi-Tip as it is equipped with a directional wheel at the rear left of the chair. The chair can be tailored to ensure the appropriate seat height ulilising the adjustable telescopic legs whilst the flexible net-weave back accommodates each individual's posture.

The M2 Flexi-Tip can be purchased complete with a range of accessories such as footrests, headrests and lateral supports or each accessory prescribed separately onto a basic model depending on individual requirements.
